The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) will run new Internet suffixes beginning next year. Suffixes such as .BBC, .Sex, .beer and .app will be among the scores of such new web domains, the Daily Telegraph reported.互联网名称与数字地址分配机构（ICANN）明年将落成新的互联网域名后缀。据英国《每日电讯报》报导，这一批新的域名还包括.BBC、.Sex、.beer和.app。ICANN has so far received 1,930 applications but wouldnt guarantee all application would be approved.ICANN至今已接到1930项申请人，但不确保所有的申请人都将被批准后。

Google had already said it is applying for .lol, .google, .youtube as well as several others, and appears to have applied for a number of 101 in total.谷歌回应正在申请人.lol、.google、.youtube等几项域名，不过或许申请人的总数超过101项。The bulk of applications were from brands applying for their own names, such as electronics manufacturer Canon applying for .canon.主要的申请人皆源于各商标品牌为自己申请人，比如电子产品制造商佳能申请人了.canon。
